作家李玟萱訪問了12位珍珠家園長期關懷的姊妹，收錄在《茶室女人心: 萬華紅燈區的故事》。 這12位姊妹出生於四、五十年代的「艱苦人」家庭，小小年紀就踏入社會，見證各種光怪陸離，也飽嚐經濟、愛情、親情的各樣張力。一路流連到萬華，好不容易到了終站。她們在珍珠家園認識了耶穌，生命開始改變，卻也持續面對誘惑和掙扎。 期待這本書可以幫助讀者認識她們以及她們背後的故事。 珍珠家園同工將到教會或小組去傳遞異象、分享見證。如有興趣，請與同工淑華聯絡 (電話: 0988 338 035)。謝謝! |

Shine Li interviewed twelve women for this newly published book, "Serving Tea: Stories from Wanhua’s Red-Light District". (Only available in traditional Chinese) They were born into working-class families and worked as tea shop hostesses or sex workers in Wanhua. On the last leg of their arduous journey, they ended up at the Pearl Family Garden. Here, they met Jesus and their lives were transformed. But they continue to face temptations and struggles. Please pray this book would mobilize the Taiwanese church to share the gospel with women in red-light districts all over the island. |

~ About Us 關於珍珠家園 ~
The Pearl Family Garden was set up to reach women in the red-light district of Wanhua: those who work in Wanhua’s tea houses and sex trade, the elderly and poor. We provide a safe environment and caring community.
珍珠家園主要關懷萬華特殊境遇的婦女:茶室、性工作、獨居、經濟弱勢。珍珠家園提供一個安全溫暖的環境，以愛建立關懷團體，大姐們在這裡可以做回自己。
We are committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ because it is“the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). Through small group meetings, handicraft and art classes, life storybook workshop and other activities, we promote holistic growth (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual). We believe that God can redeem our brokenness. We learn to see ourselves with new eyes when we discover the true meaning and purpose of life.
我們立志傳揚耶穌基督的福音，因為福音是上帝的大能，要救一切相信的。透過小組聚會、手工班、生命繪本、藝術創作、歌仔戲等活動和課程促進身心靈全人發展。大姐們不再迴避過去的負面經驗，嘗試用新的眼光看「自己」，重新詮釋「人生」的意義。
The Pearl Family Garden team is made up of OMF missionaries and Taiwanese workers. Holistic ministry begins with the building of relationships, listening and accompaniment. We visit women on the streets and in the tea houses where they work. We share the gospel and pray for those in need. We help them look for jobs, seek medical treatment, apply for social welfare, plug into local networks and resources.
珍珠家園的團隊由內地會宣教士和台灣同工組成。我們的全人關懷從建立關係、聆聽、陪伴開始。我們每週到茶室和街頭探訪婦女，傳福音，為有需要的人禱告。我們也陪伴她們找工作、就醫、申請社會福利，幫助長期被社會邊緣化的婦女連結資源。
We want to work in partnership with local churches to serve women in red-light districts. Our vision is to have “a string of pearls” all over Taiwan.
我們希望攜手教會在台灣各地設立服務據點，串起「一條珍珠項鍊」。

Pearl 珍珠
早期，人們冒著生命危險，潛入海中尋找珍珠，這個隱藏的珍寶。標誌中的珍珠，象徵在社會邊緣、城市黑暗角落生活的婦女。
In the past, divers risked their lives to find pearls which were hidden treasures of the ocean. The pearl in our logo symbolizes women living on the margins of Taiwanese society.
Cross 十字架
耶穌從天上降生在世界上，甚至犧牲自己的生命，就是為了拯救罪人脫離黑暗的權勢，將他們接到神的國裡。耶穌是世界的光，所以標誌中的十字架也像在黑夜中閃爍的一顆星。聖經馬太福音說到，天國好像一個商人，他找到一顆貴重的珍珠，就去變賣他一切所有的，買了這顆珠子。我們渴望婦女認識主耶穌的時候，願意放棄他們長期倚賴的偶像(金錢、男女關係、愛情等)來跟隨基督，並享受作神兒女的特權。
Jesus went all the way, even unto death, to save women from the dominion of darkness and bring them into his kingdom. Since Jesus is the light of the world, the cross in our logo also resembles a star. A parable in the Gospel of Matthew describes the kingdom of heaven as a merchant who, when he found a pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it (Matt 13:45-46). We pray that as they come to know Jesus, women living on the margins will let go of false idols and find their true worth as God’s children.
